| Adjusting Your Wand Collet |

We have the highest machine manufacturing standard on end caps in the violet wand market today, precision manufactured to 7/16" +/- <.5mm, a manufacturing tolerance that is only the diameter of a human hair. This is unprecedented quality and precision sizing among violet wand companies.
What can happen with violet wands, though, is that the collet can splay from use. If you look down into the nose, you may see four metal fingers that make up the wand's collet. The collet is the piece that holds the parts in, and the fingers provide a 'friction grip'. These fingers can splay slightly over time or if you use slightly too large parts in it or especially if you push acessories too far in. Your wand also may not have received precision factory adjustment if it is new. Wand adjustment is part of your wand's maintenance. And adjusting your wand is easily done. If you use lesser quality 'rough cut', handcut or other type homemade accessories in a wand, such as some smaller vendors sell at fetish events you definitely will splay the collet and need to adjust your wand more frequently. Using a very small but sturdy flat blade precision screwdriver, peer down into your wand's nosecone. Work the blade of the screwdriver between ONE collet finger and the inside wall of the wand. On some wands this might be tight to do that, especially if you have a wand that definitely needs adjusted, but a little wiggling and using the thinnest precision screwdriver that you can find, will help you out.
You want to adjust just one collet finger inward by just the width of one human hair. Then test fit. You might adjust again, but never adjust more at one time than one human hair. You should have fit again with a small number of adjustments, usually within 1-3 adjustments. If needed, you can adjust more than one collet finger.
Our endcaps are straight sided and smooth, with a seamless rounded tip so they will not cause undue splaying to your wand collet, and will not scratch its inside walls. Using our electrodes and accessories means fewer adjustments and constant, perfect fit.
