This wand’s attachments either felt like nothing such as the mushroom, even all the way up, or they were too powerful to use. Also the lightbulb attachment doesn’t fit a standard lightbulb.

Thanks for the review! We know that certain electrodes can feel different to each person, so we appreciate you letting us know how they worked for you. However, with the lightbulb attachment, be sure to remove the candelabra adapter that is also inside! The adapter absolutely fits both standard and candelabra type lightbulbs. 🙂

I was at first shocked by the electrode mini size. Comming from the mechanical wand, the power knob and the weigth needs major adaptation. Powercable shorter so have an extension handy. So quiet in a noisy dungeon that indicator wont be there. My big wand is on the fritz (getting cared for), but I want to play and this baby will do just fine. First big test this week-end.

I purchased the $199 kit. The Nova Wand worked for about 5 minutes, then there was just a low hum from the wand. I emailed the company and they exchanged it for a new one which works well. but I am extremely disappointed especially because I wanted it in time for an event.

BAZINGA!!! I had been looking at the Zeus and KinkLab at a local toy shop. KinkLab was DOA out of the box, and the Collete on the Zeus allowed for electrode drop. They were nicely designed all be it identical in design and power. The Nova VW has a very tight Collette, it is lighter in weight than the fore mentioned brands and I feel it has a bit more power. The other two felt more like a static shock while the Nova VW feels more intense like a sizzle when turn up all the way!

I always wanted to purchase a Violet Wand, but I was hesitant as to whether it would work as advertised. I received a gift of the Zeus wand (Terrible. It didn’t work at all. The Nova wand is actually pretty powerful. I’m not sure what is up with people who keep saying that electric/solid-state wands are weak, this one definitely is not. I was afraid the thing would get really hot or immediately zap you when you turn it on, but no worries. You can start slowly and the lowest settings are tolerable if not impossible to feel on most electrodes, and the thing never really gets hot.

I agree as a beginner it’s a great 1st first violet wand and the price was more than attractive. I find the kit very complete to start. I got the Y because you can use is soft over a large surface or use just one point for a stronger shock. All the accessories are in working order. I am really happy too that my electrodes from a cosmetic violet ray kit work with this kit 😀

This kit is PERFECT for beginners. Obviously, price was a huge point, since the cost of entry to violet wand play is usually much higher. This kit has everything you could ask for starting out. For the extra attachment, I got the roller, which is very nice, though if I could do it again, I would have gotten an attachment with a bit more oomph. Remember, you can always turn the shock down, but you can only turn it so high.
